of the said School for the Time being or the Major part of them
be and are hereby Authorized impowered and directed with all con-
venient Speed to Purchase four Lotts of Ground in the Town of
Snow-Hill in the said County to them and their Successors forever
for the use of the said School and Cause to be erected and built a
Public School for the County aforesaid on such part of the said
four Lotts of Ground as for that Purpose shall be Assigned by the
said Visitors or the Major part of them

receive a
Moietv from
the Visitors
of Somerset]

And Whereas at the Time of the erecting the said County of
Worcester by the Division of Somerset County there was a very
Considerable sum of Money in the Hands of the Visitors of Somer-
set County School which still remains in their Hands one Moiety
whereof ought in Equity and Concience to be Applied to the use of
Worcester County School
Be it therefore enacted by the Authority aforesaid That the
Visitors of Somerset County School for the time being shall be and
are hereby made Accountable to the Visitors of Worcester County
School and are hereby ordered and enabled to pay to them one
Moiety of the money which was in the Hands of the said Visitors
of Somerset County School at the Time of the Division aforesaid of
the said County of Somerset and the said Visitors of Worcester
County School for the Time being are hereby impowered to demand
and receive from the said Visitors of Somerset County School for
the Time being, the said Moiety for the use of Worcester County
School and in Case of Refusal, to Sue and implead the said Visitors
of Somerset County School for the Time being to Account of the
Same Moiety and to pay the same to them for the Use of Worcester
County School aforesaid.

Provided always and be it enacted that the Visitors of Somerset
County School for the Time being shall not be answerable to Satisfy
the Money Appearing due by the Account to be rendered or recovery
to be had as af.d out of their own private Moneys or Estate but that
the same be paid and Satisfied, or if necessary levied out of the

Monies belonging to the said Somerset County School now in the
Hands of the Visitors thereof or the Treasurers or which shall
hereafter come to their or any of their Hands
|

And Whereas at the Time of the Division of the said County of
Somerset there was in the Hands of James Hollyday Esqj.r De-
ceased late Treasurer of the Eastern shore sundry sums of Money
owe to Somerset County School w:ch still remains in the Hands
of James Hollyday Esquire his Executor one Moiety of which
ought in Equity and Conscience to be Applied to the Use of Worces-
ter County School.
Be it therefore enacted by the Authority aforesaid that the said
Visitors of Worcester County School for the Time being or the
