At a Committee of both Houses of Assembly Appointed to Inspect
the Office and Proceedings for the Commissioners for Emitting Bills
of Credit [The report which begins thus is printed in full in the
Upper House journal pp. 371-376]

The following Message. Vizt
By the Lower house of Assembly 24,th Nov.r 1763.
May it please your Honours.
This house hath Resolved that a Sum of money not exceeding
£300. be taken out of the hands of the Treasurer of the Western
Shore by an Ordinance to be applied by such Members of your house
as you shall appoint to join the Members appointed by this house
for the necessary repairs of the Publick Buildings and an Addition
of a Chimney to the Stadt House and Shoud be glad to know who
you will appoint for that purpose that their Names may be inserted

in the Ordinance

Was Sent to the Upper house by Doctor Steuart & Mr Graham

The Bill Ent.d an Act to provide for the defence and Security
of the frontier Inhabitants against the Incursions of the Indians was
read the 2,d time and will pass and was Sent to the Upper house by
Mr Gantt & Mr Worthington
On Motion Resolves that a Message be Sent to the Upper house
in Answer to the Several Messages of Yesterday
Ordered that Mr Ringgold Colo Tilghman Mr Hall Mr Johnson
Mr Murdock & Mr Hammond do prepare & bring in the Same.
An Ingrossed Bill Ent.d An Act for erecting a Publick School in
ffrederick County was Read and Assented to & Sent to the Upper
house with the paper Bill By Mr Bealle & Major Waring.
The house Adjourns till 2, of the Clock

plementary Act to An Act Entd an Act for the Speedy and effectual
publication of the Laws of this Province and for the Encouragement
of Jonas Green of the City of Annapolis Printer which was read the
first time by especial Order and will pass and was Sent to the Upper
house by Mr Key and Mr Johnson.
Richard Lee Esq.r from the Upper house delivers to Mr Speaker
the Bill Ent.d an Act to confirm a Lease made by Thomas Harrison of
Baltimore Town of Baltimore County for part of a Lot of Land
therein mentioned &c,a Ind,d By the upper house of Assembly 24.th
