Mr Ringgold brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker the following
Ing.d Address Vizt
To his Excellency Horatio Sharpe Esq.r Governor and Commander
in Chief in and over the Province of Maryland.
The humble Address of the house of Delegates.
May it please your Excellency
It appearing to this house by the annexed Report, that the few
arms now left belonging to the Province are mostly in very bad
Condition and that there is a very Considerable deficiency in the
Ammunition Since April 1762 which the Armourer gives no Account
of, and also that the said armourer is not only at present incapable
of discharging his duty, but it seems probable he ever will continue so
We therefore think it our Duty to request your Excellency to
remove the said Armourer from his trust, not doubting but your
Excellency will appoint some Other person properly qualified for that
purpose and Oblige the present Armourer to Account for the Am-
munition that appears deficient by the said Report
