And as we think it probable the powder said to be delivered out
by your Excellencys Order to private Gentlemen was lent with a View
to have it replaced in convenient time with newer & better, We doubt
not but your Excellency will take Care to have that your intention
Speedily Complied with
Which was read and Assented to and Signed by Order of the house
by the Hon.bl Speaker.
Ordered that Mr Edmunson and Mr Key do acquaint his Excellency
the Governor that this house hath prepared an Address to be pre-
sented to him and desires to know when and where he will please to
receive it they return and acquaint Mr Speaker that the Governor
was pleased to Signify he woud be ready to receive the Address im-
mediately in the Conference Chamber.
Ordered that Mr Murdock and five more do present the Address
to the Governor.
Major Hynson from the Committee of Accounts brings in and
delivers to Mr Speaker the following, Report Viz.th

By the Committee of Accounts Novr 22.d 1763.
Your Committee in Obedience to the Order of the hon.ble House
for enquiring when the last Accounts were returned by the Treasures
and report the same to the House. Do Report that C. Hammond Esq.r
rendered his Account as Treasurer of the Western Shore to your
Committee this Session which account is Brought down to Octo.r
1763. that Colo Edward Lloyd rendered his Account as Treasurer
of the Eastern Shore to your Committee this Session which account
is brought down to Octo.r 1763. which said Acco.ts are now before
the Committee. All which is humbly Submitted to the Consideration
of the Hon,ble House,

Mr Hanson brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker, an Ingrossed
Bill Ent.d An Act to Impower the Justices of Charles County to Levy
on the taxable Inhabitants of port tobacco in said County an addi-
tional Sum not Exceeding two pounds of Tob.o p poll for the further
Support of an Organist in the said Parish which was read and As-
sented to and sent to the Upper House with the paper bill by Mr
Hanson and Mr Plater,
The house Adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9, of the Clock
