Suggestion of Want of Witnesses &c.a which was read the first &
Second time by especial Order & will pass

the Bill Entd An Act to continue the powers of the Sheriffs and Col-
lectors, &c.a Indd By the Upper house of Assembly 19.th Nov.r 1763

And also the Bill Ent,d An Act for imposing an Additional Duty
of two Pounds p Poll on all Negroes imported into ths Province.
Ind.d By the Upper house of Assembly 21.st Novr 1763, read the
Second time and will pass with the following Amendment leave out
the Preamble, and the Word therefore in the third line, and instead
of Ten Pounds insert two pounds; and instead of Twenty, insert Ten.
