Committee to enquire into the Allegations and facts contained in
the said petition, & to make Report thereof to the house
On Motion of James Tilghman leave is given to bring in a Bill for
the Adjournm.th of Baltimore County Court;

Ordered, that Mr James Tilghman and Mr Ringgold do prepare
& bring in a Bill accordingly.
Mr Hanson brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker, a bill Ent.d An
Act to aid the proceedings of the Vestry of S.t Stephens parish in
Csecil County; which was read the first time, and Ordered to lye on
the Table.
Mr Graham brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker, the following
Report (Vizt) By the Committee Appointed to enquire into the facts
contained in the petition of John Paca, Robert Adair, and Margaret
Paca, Executers of John Paca, Jun.r deceased
Your Committee hereby inform the hon.ble house that they have
enquired into all the facts alledged in the said petition, and find them
all to be true, except that it has not appeared to them as alledged,
that the Widow of William Hammond had bargained for the Sale
of a Moiety of the Tract of Land called Cromwells Chance but
that before she had received the Consideration Money, or excuted
and Conveyance, she died Intestate and that there is a small Ballance
of about twelve Pounds Current money unadministred in the hands
of the Administrators debonis Non of the said William Hammond.
Your Committee beg leave, also to inform the hon.ble house, that
this petition having been preferred to the last Assembly and referred
to the Consideration of the present Margaret Paca, one of the said
Petitioners, is Since married to a Certain Moses Hill, who we appre-
hend ought to be made a party in the Bill all which is Submitted
