from such Sale after deducting the Costs & Charges of such Con-
demnation and sale to be, paid to the person or persons so Seizing
the same Goods, or if the Seizure is made out of the province, then
the Goods to be brought within this Province and prosecuted &
Condemned at the next Court that shall be held for the County, next
adjacent to the place where the Seizure Shall be made
In the 7.th Line of the same page, after the Word Indian, insert
these Words, Woman or Child, and Gun powder Shot or lead what-
soever, nor to any Indian, Man, and in the 11th line, instead of the
words as aforesaid insert the following, in the County Court where
the Offence shall be Committed together with the Costs of Suit,

Cresap & Mr Goldsborough be a Committee to Consider what further
Alterations or amendments are necessary to be made to the Inspection
Law and that they make report thereof to the house on the morrow

The Bill Ent.d an Act for the relief of Creditors &c.a was here
read & passed for Ingrossing
The Bill Ent.d an Act for prohibiting all trade with the Indians
&c.a was here read with the amendments proposed by the Upper
house with which several amendments this house Concurs and Or-
dered that the bill be amended accordingly & Ind.d Read & passed
for Ingrossing.
The house Adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9. of the Clock

The house met according to Adjournment &c,a
Mr Murdock brings in and delivers to M.r Speaker the following
Report (Vizt)

By the Committee appointed to report further amendments to the
Inspection Law.
Your Committee have agreed to report the following Amendments
(Vizt)
That upon a new Inspectors receiving the house from the Old
One he shall make two lists of all hhds of Tobacco then in the house
which the Old Inspector Shall deliver well nailed, lined & fit for
Shipping describing the Marks, Numbers, Gross, Tare, & nett weight
Stamped or marked thereon and Sign a receipt at the foot of each List
