of such Security having been given and also that the said Mary
Stansbury shall within Six Months after any Vendue as aforesaid
account with the Commissary for the Produce of Such Sale and give
security for the Ballance (if any) in the same Manner as if the
same was properly personal Estate, to be distributed and paid
according to the meaning and Intention of this Act.

Provided always and be it Enacted that this Act shall not extend
to impower the said Mary Stansbury to burthen or charge the
Orphan or Orphans of the afd Tobias Stansbury or any Person or
Persons Claiming by from or under them or any of them with any
General or other Warranty than against the Said Tobias Stansbury
and his Heirs.

An Act for Building a Church in Saint James's Parish in Anne-
Arundel County.

Whereas by Petition to this General Assembly, from the Vestry-
men, Church-wardens, and the Parishioners of Saint James's Parish
in Anne-Arundel County, it is represented, That their Parish
Church is so much decayed, that it is irrepairable, and it is prayed
that an Act of Assembly may pass, impowering the Justices of the
said County to Levy on the Taxable Inhabitants of the said Parish,
the Quantity of One Hundred and Thirty Thousand Pounds of
Tobacco, at Two even and equal Assessments, to be applied towards
the Building of the said Church :

Be it therefore Enacted, by the Right Honourable the Lord
Proprietary, by and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordship's
Governor, and the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly, and the
Authority of the same, That the Vestry-men and Church-wardens
of Saint James's Parish in Anne-Arundel County, or the Majority
of them, shall, and they are hereby obliged and required, as soon
as conveniently may be, to contract and agree for the building and
compleatly finishing a new Church, on or near the Place where the
Parish Church of the said Parish now stands.

And be it further Enacted, That the Justices of Anne-Arundel
County Court shall, and they are hereby required, on Application
to them made by the Vestry-men and Church-wardens, or the
Majority of them, to Levy on the Taxable Inhabitants of the said
