Know all men by theese prsents, that I Jno Erickson of the Isle Liber A
of Kent doth acknowledge for good Causes & Considerations mee
theare unto moueinge, and haue Rec full satisfaction for the same,
doth acknowledge to haue sould bartered bargained & made sail of,
fiftie Ackers of land, that I the afforesd Erickson bought of Wm
Leedes, & the same Cleme title & intrest tht I the sd Ericson had,
Assigned ouere unto mee by Wm Leedes, I doth acknowledge by
theese prsents to haue sould the same unto Joseph weickes, Inioyninge
mee my heires Executors or Assignes, to Confirme & make good the
salle theareof, unto the afforesd Weickes, his heires Executors or
Assigns foreuer, in the same maner & forme as was Assigned &
made ouer to mee the sayd Erickson from the afforesd Leedes, I doe
by theese ptsents Assigne & Confirme the same sail unto the afforesd
Weickes his heires Executors or Assignes, From mee the aforesd
Erickson my heires Executors or Assignes foreuer, And further I
the sd Erickson doth acknowledge, to haue Receiued of the afforesd
Weecks full satisfaction for any Cleme or debt due to mee, the sd
Erickson by Condition or Order of Court theareupon, from the
Estate of Edward Tarrent dessassed & to the true pformance heareof,
I bind mee my heires Executors or Assignes well and truly to pforme
as wittnes my hand this 30th of March 1656 Johen Erickson

The Court hauinge Rec information upon Oath that Edward
Rogers is guiltie of the breach of an Act of Assembly; the sd Rogers
ailso Con fessinge in Count tht hee shott & kild a turkcy upon a
sunday Contrarie to the sd Act; pleadinge For himself e tht this
was was his first offence, of tht nature, & tht hee was Ignorant
of the Act of Assembly phibittinge shootinge on sundayes; & Is
sorie for his Offence, pmissing neuer to doe the lick
The Court is pleased For this time, to accept his plea, & to Impose
noe Further penaltie upon him, saue only, the sd Rogers shall pay
the Charges of the suite, els Execution
