         Liber C    and Lawfull men of yor County by whome the truth in the Premisses
               may the better be knowne and enquired of And Lastly wee haue ap
               poynted Disborough Bennett Clerke and keeper of the Record and
               Proceedings in that yor County Cort and there fore you shall cause to
               be brought before you at the sd dayes and place the writts precepts
               pcess and indictments to yor Court and Jurisdiction belonging that
               the same may bee inspected and by a due cowrse determined as aforesd
               Giuen under the Greate seale of or sd Prouince of Maryland the
               sixtenth day of Aprill in the xxxvi jth yeare of our dominion ouer

                 Caecilius absolute Lord & Propriator of the Prouinces of Maryland
               & Aualon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c: To or trusty & well beloued
               Robert Dunn & John Vicaris gent. Greeting whereas wee haue lately
               by or Cothishon under or great Seale of or sd Prouince nominated
               constituted and appoynted you the sd Robert & John and the seuerall
               other psons in the sd Cothishon named to be Cothishoners & Justices
               for the keeping of the peace in & for Or County of Kent County with
               full power and authority to keepe or County Cort there at such dayes
               & tymes as by the lawe in that case made is prouided Now know yee
               that wee reposeing great trust and confidence in yor fideletys and
               prouident Circumspectons haue assigned you and by vertue of these
         Philip     pTsents doe giue unto you full power & authority (you the sd John
               Vicaris haueing first taken the usuall oath of Comishoner & Justice
            of the peace of or sd County upon the holy Euangelist wch oath wee
               doe hereby impour & authorize you the sd Robert Dunn duely to
               administer to him the sd John Vicaris and you the sd John haueing
               receiued & takein the sd oath wee doe hereby authorize you to ad
               minister the like oath of Comishoner & Justice of the peace of or sd
               County to him the sd Robert Dunn wch being dun & performed that
               then yee call & caus to come before you the other psons in the sd
               Cothishon nominated & appoynted to be Cothishoners & Justices of the
               peace of or sd County and duely & truely to administr unto them &
               euery of them ioyntely or seuerally the sd oath of Comishonr and
               Justice of the peace of or sd County they allsoe takeing the same upon
               the holy Evangelist The tenor of wch oath wee send you herewith and
               when you haue soe dune wee doe will & Comand you that you doe under
               yor hands & seales certifie us of yor whole pceedeings herein without
               delay into or Cort of Chauncery wheresoeuer it shall then bee together
