          Liber B Mr Thomas Ringgold demandeth Wart versus Henry Stoope in an
          [fol. 48] Actn of debt to the vallue of 100lb of Tob. & for this he bringeth his

               suyt. one suppene for Stoope.


                Thomas Ringgold sworne in Court

                Saith That Thomas Tunny beinge at my house about three weekes
               since, & mr Cowrsey cominge to my house, Tho: Turny askt if mr
               Cownsey was gone, & yor depont askt would you speake him.
               saith he I would haue him secure six hundred & fifty Pounds of Tob
               fon Thomas Hill is in the hands of John Deere, & to secure the
               remainder in his owne hands for my selfe, & further saith not
                                               Tho:    Ringgold


                Know all men by these prsents, tht I John Deere of the County
               of Kent Planter doe binde & make ouer unto Will Boreman his
               heires Assignes or certaine Atturny, all my Cnopp of Tob wch I haue
               planted or caused to be planted this prsent yeare for & in Considenacon
               of a debt of six hundred & six pounds of Tob, upon Judgmt & order
               of Court on Kent, the 20th of July last wch Cnopp of Tob I the sd
               Deere binde my selfe, my heires, Execrs & Administrs not to dispose
               of any pt or pcell thereof upon double the forfiture of the sd Debt of
               six hundred & six pounds of Tob & Caske untill the sd debt be fully
               satisfied unto the sd Boreman his heires Assignes or certaine Atturny
               In witnesse here of I haue set my hand this 11th of August 1658

                This Bill bindeth me Peter Parker my heires Executrs & Admrs

               on Assignes the tenth day of Nou next upon the Isle of Kent, the
               Just some of Fowrteene hundred seuenty seue Pounds of good
               sounde Tob wthout ground leaues in Caske witnesse my hand this
