Baltimore County in the room of Job Garretson resigned —
Thomas Richardson Esqr appointed Commissary General of this
State agreeable to the " Act to raise the Supplies for the year 1782 "
in the room of Benjamin Chambers who has declined acting. —

[Council to Cap' George p. Keeports.]
We have your several Letters before us, and enclose you an Order
on the Commissary of Baltimore County for 200 Barrels of Flour,
should he not be able immediately to comply with the Order, on In-
formation, we will furnish you with Tobacco, to extricate you from
your present Difficulties, to be disposed of at the Market Price, be it
what it may. You will sell the Tobacco in your Possession for the
best Price to be obtained. We cannot, with Propriety, request you to
engage further for the State, but our Necessity obliges us to request
you to purchase 100 Yards of Soldier's Cloth, white to be preferred
if to be had, which we engage to pay in Specie on the first of March
next.

under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca for the use of
his Compy of Mila p payroll examd & passed by the Aud Genl

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Captain John
H. Nicholls two hundred and seventeen pounds, eighteen shillings
and Six pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of
Bills of Credit &ca for the use of his Company of Select Militia while
on Guard over the British Prisoners at Frederick p pay roll passed
by the A Gl
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt John H. Nicholls twenty
five pounds of the same Emission to be delivered over as follows,
eight pounds to Aaron Harris, one pound ten shillings to Capt John
Murdock, two pounds, ten shillings to John Lary, two pounds, five
shillings to Robt Peter, four pounds ten shillings to Genl Samuel
Elbert, three pounds to Colo William Deakins, two pounds, five shil-
lings to Thomas Johns and one pound to Levin Beall due them per
Accts passed by the Aud Genl —
That the said Treasurer pay to Joshua Howard seventy five pounds
of the same Emission to be delivered over to Doctr Ephraim Howard
on Account. —
That the Said Treasurer pay to Robert Couden Esqr seventeen
pounds, eighteen shillings and nine pence of the same Emission due
him per Account passed by the Depy Aud —
