Tuesday 29th January 1782
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Bullen
Esquire fifteen pounds specie to be expended in the purchase of Wood
on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice Esqr seventy five
pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills
of Credit &ca in part of his Salary on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt John Courts Jones, twenty
five pounds, Sixteen shillings of the Same Emission for Stores to the
1st Inst on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Harwood Esqr nine hun-
dred and twenty nine pounds, seven shillings and three pence of the
same Emission due him for Certs issued agreeable to the Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State and also one hundred and ninety one
pounds, nineteen shillings and two pence like money for a Certa of
Samuel M. Lane Lieut in the late Extra Regiment as settled by the
Aud. Genl—
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Jarboe seven pounds four
shillings and two pence of the same Emission per Account passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to William Bellwood Twenty four
pounds, five shillings of the same Emission per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Doctr James Murray one hundred
and fifty seven pounds, fourteen shillings and eight pence of the
Same Emission due him per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Muir four hundred and fifty
nine pounds, seventeen shillings and seven pence of the same Emis-
sion due him for the Certificates of Capt Francis Shepherd and
Ens. James Bickham of the late Extra Regimt as settled by the
D. Aud. and also one hundred and fifty Pounds of the same Emis-
sion in part of his Salary as Comy of Stores on Acel
That the said Treasurer pay to George Adams two pounds five
shillings Specie on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Doct. James Murray, four hundred
and twenty three pounds, nine shillings and ten pence and also to
Thomas Grason fifty one pounds, eight shillings specie agreeable to
the Act to adjust the Debts due from the State per Accts passed by
the A Gl
That the said Treasurer pay to Doctr James Murray four hundred
and twenty three pounds nine shillings and ten pence of the Bills
emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due
for a Certificate issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts &ca —
