President State Pennsylvania.]
We take the earliest opportunity of communicating to your Ex-
cellency that Mr Henry Carbury, a Citizen of this State, and late a
Captain in the Pennsylvania Line of the Continental Troops, has
been arrested and charged before two of the Judges of the General
Court, with having been a principal in a Dangerous Insurrection in
Philadelphia in June last, and having beset the Stadt House with an
Armed Force, and for which he is now in the Custody of the Law
of this State, the Judges before whom he was charged having recog-
nized him for his Appearance before the General Court for the
Western Shore of the State on the Second Tuesday in May next

Mr James Ringgold exhibits to the Board a Bond from James
Chalmers, late of Kent County to William Ringgold dated 19th Janu-
ary 1774 Conditioned for the Payment of One hundred and seventy
nine pounds, seventeen shillings and five pence Current Money
amounting with Interest to the 15th of Decemr 1783, to Two hundred
and Eighty six pounds, eighteen shillings and nine pence Current
Money passed by the Auditor and approved by the Board.
Doctr Charles Frederick Wiesenthal exhibits an Account against
Robert Alexander for One hundred and sixty four pounds, thirteen
