Tuesday 27 November 1781

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Alice Redman
two pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of
Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropriated for the present Cam-
paign p Acct passed by the Aud. Genl. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Nicholas Lewis Sewell sixty eight
pounds, fifteen shillings and eight pence specie agreeable to the Act
to adjust the Debts due from the State per Account of Philip Knight
passed by the D Aud.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Benjamin Burk a soldier
in the late 6th Regiment one shirt one pair Breeches & one pr Stock-
ings on Acct
That the Armourer deliver to Serjeant Henry Holtsman four
stand of Arms, for the purpose of guarding Prisoners to Frederick
Town and to be delivered to Colo Philip Thomas Lieut of Frederick
County. —
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Ann Slack the wife of
Henry Slack a soldier in Capt Browns Compy of Artillery 10 Days
Provisions
Richard Stark a Draught from Talbot County to serve until the
10th of December next, is hereby Discharged from the service for
which he was Draughted. —
Commissions issued to Nathaniel Stinchcomb appointed Lieut Colo
in the room of Charles Carnan, and Elias Dorsey Major in the room
of Joseph Gist, in the Soldiers Delight Battalion of Militia in Balti-
more County. —

We are informed by Mr Quynn, that you will furnish a Quantity
of Wood for Public Use, this Article is much wanted at present.
If you will be so obliging to let us have what is necessary, you shall
be paid in Specie, twenty five Shillings p Cord, or at the same Rate
you vend to others. —
