In Consequence of an Arrangement made by General Washington
and the Count de Rochambeau. we have to request you to direct the
Express stationed at Alexandria, to proceed from thence to Balti-
more by the shortest Route, where he will deliver his Dispatches to
Mr Poe the Quartermaster, who will forward them on.

Saturday 19th January 1782
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to William Harris
lately enlisted in the Maryland Line one Suit of Cloaths, two shirts
one pair Shoes, and one pair Stockings the Bounty allowed by the
Act of Assy. —
That the western shore Treasurer pay to John Sutton & Co one
hundred and fifty two pounds, nine shillings and one penny Specie
agreeable to the " Act to adjust the Debts due from this State "
That the said Treasurer pay to Richard Graves, seven hundred and
twenty pounds, two shillings and six pence — Edmund Plowden three
hundred and forty seven pounds, nineteen shillings and five pence —
and to Patrick O Bryan six pounds, one shilling specie agreeable to
the Act aforesaid per Certificates and Accounts passed by the Aud.

That the Said Treasurer pay to Mrs Grahame one thousand five
hundred and nine pounds, twelve shillings and eight pence Specie
agreeable to the Act aforesaid due her per Certs settled [by] the Audr
Genl the 18th Instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to George F Hawkins Esq. six pounds
thirteen shillings and nine pence of the Bills emitted under the Act
for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropriated
for the present Campaign due him per Account passed by the Aud
Genl
That the Said Treasurer pay to Colo Uriah Forrest three pounds
eighteen shillings and five pence of the Same Emission of the money
aforesaid for the use of Capt Samuel Jenifer and also twenty six
