That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Dee Two pounds, ten
shillings specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from
this State " per Account passed.

Thursday 23d October 1783.
Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor
The Honorable Benjamin Stoddert, Jere T. Chase & James Brice
Esquires —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay over to Benjamin
Harwood Esqr Continental Receiver for this State, all Monies aris-
ing on the five shillings specie Tax which may be received by him
for the present Years Assessment agreeably to the Act to raise the
Supplies for the Year 1783.
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to Robert Darnall agree-
ably to the Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
Congress &ca " for Thirteen pounds, eighteen shillings & nine pence
due on Contl Lo. Off. Certs adjusted by the D. Audr 22d Instant
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to Benjamin Bond
agreeably to the said Act for Twenty four pounds eleven shillings
and five pence due on Continental Loan Office Certificates adjusted
by the Depy Audr the 20 Instant

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue a Certificate to
Daniel Scott of Aquila agreeably to the "Act proposing to the Citi-
zens of this State, Creditors of Congress &ca " for Five hundred and
three pounds, five shillings and eight pence due on Continental Loan
Office Certificates adjusted by the Deputy Audr
That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to Richard Ridgely
Esquire agreeably to the Act aforesaid for One hundred and forty
one pounds eleven shillings and ten pence due on Continental Loan
Office Certificates adjusted by the Depy Audr the 20th Instant —
That the said Treasurer pay to James McCulloch Eight hundred
and thirty four pounds, four shillings and ten pence specie agree-
ably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per Cer-
tificates adjusted by the Depy Audr the 15th Instant
That the said Treasurer pay to Richard Ridgely for the use of
Hercules Courtenay Two hundred and six pounds, seven shillings
and eleven pence Current Money Principal and Interest of a Cer-
tificate issued under the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this
State " being for Clothing Contracted for by the Governor and
Council. —
