Wednesday 24th September 1783.

Present the Honble Benjamin Stoddert, Jer. T. Chase & James
Brice Esquires
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue Certificates agree-
ably to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
Congress &ca " to Mrs Elzey for Two hundred and twenty six pounds,
one shilling and ten pence — Ann Glasgow for Forty pounds, thirteen
shillings and eight pence — Richard Waters senr for Forty six pounds
and ten pence — Thomas Sadler for Thirty pounds, sixteen shillings
and one penny and to Ezekiel Gilliss for one hundred and thirty
seven pounds, ten shillings and six pence due them on Continental
Loan Office Certs adjusted by the Depy Audr the 23d Inst
That the said Treasurer pay to Jeremiah T. Chase Esquire Three
hundred pounds Current Money for three Quarters Salary to the
8th August last

The Goods on Board your Ship, belonging to the State of Mary-
land must be landed at Annapolis. The Intendant, to whom they
must be delivered, will, at any Time, be ready to receive them. —

Thursday 25th September 1783.

Present the Honorable Benjamin Stoddert, Jeremiah T. Chase,
James Brice and John H. Stone Esquires. —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Morris
out of the Contingent Fund seven pounds, ten shillings Current
Money for carrying the Baggage of the Troops to Frederick Town
on Account of the United States per Account passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Skinner Five thousand
three hundred and forty two pounds, eight shillings and eleven pence
specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State "
per Certificates adjusted by the Deputy Auditor. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue a Certificate to
John Skinner agreeably to the Act proposing to the Citizens of this
State, Creditors of Congress &ca for Three thousand, four hundred
and sixty nine pounds, eighteen shillings and nine pence due on Con-
tinental Loan Office Certificates adjusted by the Deputy Auditor. —
