room of Zephaniah Turner Esquire who has resigned, and Benjamin
Harwood Esquire was elected. —

We have appointed you to be Auditor General, and we hope it will
be agreeable to you to serve. As there is a good Deal of business
waiting for an Auditor, you will be pleased to signify your Accep-
tance and take upon yourself the duties of the Office as soon as
convenient.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Alice Redmond
One pound fifteen shillings and three pence — Ann Hutchings and
Catharine Cathiel, each One pound, two shillings and six pence out
of the Money set apart for Contingent Expences due them per Ac-
counts passed. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Charles Stewart
Thirty five pounds, three shillings and ten pence and Thomas Sanders
Six pounds, four shillings and ten pence specie agreeably to the "Act
to adjust the Debts due from this State " per Pay rolls examined and
passed August 19th 1782. —
