That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Waters Twenty six
pounds, four shillings and eleven pence and Smith Horsey Two
pounds, six shillings and eleven pence specie agreeable to the "Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State " per Certificates adjusted the
19th Instant. —

Friday 23d May 1783.

Present The Honble Ben j. Stoddert, G Duvall, James Brice &
John H Stone Esquires
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue Certificates agree-
able to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
Congress on Loan Office Certificates &ca " to Thomas Gassaway for
eight pounds, fourteen shillings — Nicholas Watkins for three pounds,
nineteen shillings and four pence — Rachel Disney for Twenty five
pounds, thirteen shillings and six pence — John Rumsey for six hun-
dred and forty three pounds, twelve shillings and eleven pence and
to Benjamin Rumsey for six hundred and fifty nine pounds, five
shillings and one penny due them on Continental Loan Office Certifi-
cates adjusted by the Auditor General and Deputy Auditor —
That the Eastern shore Treasurer pay to James Murray Esqr One
hundred pounds Current Money for six Months Salary to the ioth
April last per Account passed. —
That the Intendant be requested to deliver to the Honble John
Rogers Esqr one thousand bushels of Wheat at Baltimore Town or
the Head of Elk due him for the Balance of his last Years Salary per
Account passed. —

ners of Somerset County in the room of Levin Woolford resigned. —
Commission issued to John Stewart, John Williams, John Span
Conway, Henry Jackson and Levin Woolford appointed Justices of
the Orphans Court of Somerset County. —

son five hundred and eighty seven pounds, ten shillings and seven
pence specie agreeable to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this
State " per Certificates adjusted by the Audr General. —

That the said Treasurer issue a Certificate to John Sefton agree-
able to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
