Friday 11^th January 1782.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John H Stone
Esq^r two pounds, three shillings and seven pence Specie on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Col^o Charles G Griffith six pounds,
sixteen shillings and five pence half penny of the Bills emitted under
the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &^ca of the money appro-
priated for the present Campaign, three pounds thereof to be by him
retained, three pounds, two shillings and seven pence half penny to
be delivered to Edward Penn and twelve shillings and ten pence to
Brock Mockbee due them per Accounts passed by the Aud &
Depy Aud

Saturday 12^th January 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to David McMachen
Esq^r two hundred pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit &^ca of the money appropriated for the
Defence of the State, to be delivered over to Benjamin Nicholson
Esq^r Judge of the Court of Admiralty on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to David McMachen Esq^r four hun-
dred and six pounds, nineteen shillings and three pence of the same
Emission, of the money appropriated for the present Campaign to
be delivered over to Thomas Yeates due him per Account passed by
the Depy Aud. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut John Lavascher eight pounds,
twelve shillings of the same Emission, of the money aforesaid for
Stores to the 1^st Instant on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to John Shaw one hundred and thirteen
pounds, fourteen shillings and four pence of the same Emission, of
the money aforesaid per Acc^t passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Elisha Harrison surgeon's Mate
ten pounds of the same Emission, of the money afores^d on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt John Gordon forty eight
pounds, of the same Emission of the money aforesaid due him per
Account passed by the Aud. Gen^l. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Major Rudulph thirty pounds of
the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid agreeable
to a Resolution of this Board of the 22^d of July last
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Maj^r Rudulph one suit
of Cloaths one shirt and one pair Stockings for David Henderson
of Lee's Legion. —

It has been represented to us by the Petition of William Galloway
of Baltimore County, that he was fined at a Court Martial held on
