Wednesday 18th December 1782

Present as on Yesterday.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Charles Carroll
Barrr Esqr sixty nine pounds specie due him per Account passed. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Philip Ford four
pounds, ten shillings — Richard Ridgely, Daniel Bowly and William
West Executors of Thomas Harrison Deceased, eight hundred and
thirty seven pounds four shillings and eight pence — David Drew
nineteen pounds, thirteen shillings and nine pence — & Capt William
D. Beall twenty five pounds specie agreeable to the "Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State " per Certificates and Accounts ad-
justed and passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Richard Ridgely one hundred and
sixteen pounds, fifteen shillings and two pence specie the Principal
and Interest of a Certificate issued to Thomas Harrison agreeable
to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State for money lent
in May 1780. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Mr McCreary one hundred and
seventy three pounds, five shillings specie out of the money appro-
priated for the Payment of Creditors of a particular description for
the use of Samuel and Robert Purviance, due them for money lent in
May 1780 per Account passed. —
Mr Patrick Byron late Master of a Flag Ship (belonging to his
most Christian Majesty) from Charles Town with French and
American Prisoners, is Permitted to proceed to New York in the
Flag Schooner Trimmer, Miles Urion Master, and as Mr Byron
represents that he incurred a Debt at Hampton in Virginia which he
is desirous of paying and wishes to get a Receipt from some Prison-
ers delivered there, he is at Liberty to solicit the Commanding Officer
at Hampton for Permission to Land at that place to adjust this
Business. —

Benja Stoddert, Gabriel Duvall, Jere. T. Chase & James Brice
Esquires.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Ritchie
fifteen pounds, Nicholas Hisely sixteen pounds & Richard Mudd six
pounds, ten shillings and six pence specie agreeable to the Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Hyde sixty eight pounds,
six shillings and eight pence specie for House Rent, due on two
Certificates issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due
from this State. —
