and one penny specie out of the money appropriated for the Pay-
ment of Creditors of a particular description due him for money
lent May 1780 per Account passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Ralph Longden for the use of
Andrew Wales out of the money appropriated as aforesaid per Certa
passed.

That the said Treasurer pay to Belain Posey one pound eight
shillings and eight pence specie for money lent the State in June 1780
per Certificate passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Edward Norris six pounds eleven
shillings and eight pence specie three pounds, five shillings thereof
to be by him retained and the residue three pounds six shillings and
eight pence to be delivered over to James Barton per Accounts
passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Cornelius Mills six pounds specie
Due him per Account passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to James Tootell two hundred and
thirty seven pounds, six shillings and ten pence specie agreeable to
the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per Certa of Benja
Dulanys adjusted 2d Instant. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Alexander Wales forty eight
pounds, nineteen shillings and eleven pence specie agreeable to the
Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per Certificates passed. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay Edward Smoot two
hundred and fifteen pounds, seven shillings and four pence — Belain
Posey twenty four Pounds, nine shillings and four pence — Charles
Riggs four pounds, fifteen shillings and three pence and Joseph
Shaw twenty three pounds, two shillings and five pence specie agree-
able the Act aforesaid per Certificates adjusted and passed — Belain
Poseys passed 5th Inst.
Permission given to Mrs Mangeon to solicit leave from General
Washington or the Commanding Officer at Dobbs's Ferry to go into
the City of New York for the purpose of taking a Passage from
thence to Europe. —

The Recruits who were the Subject of our Letter of the 25th of
Octr and the Answer you honored us with of the 12th ulto, are
reduced to such extreme Distress for Want of Cloathing that the
General Assembly, out of mere Humanity, have directed that Cloath-
ing shall be furnished them from the State Store. It will not there-
fore be necessary that those which were providing for them in
Philadelphia should be forwarded.
