Thursday 12th December 1782

Present His Excellency the Governor, Benjamin Stoddert, Jere-
miah T. Chase & John H. Stone Esquires.
Permission given to Thomas Smithson of Harford County to [go]
into New York by Dobbs's Ferry to carry Necessaries to his son a
naval Prisoner — and Permission to James McCulloch of Ann Arundel
County to Solicit Leave of his Excellency General Washington or
the Commanding Officer at Dobbs's Ferry to go into the City of
New York for the purpose of having an Interview with Anthony
Stewart. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer grant to Alexander Sym-
mer a Certificate for the Sum of four hundred and thirty seven
pounds eleven shillings and three pence specie due him per Account

audited and passed by the Auditor General and Intendant and pay

the same out of the money that shall be received by the said Treasurer
for property sold formerly belonging to James Russell and not
already appropriated agreeable to a Resolve of the General Assembly
of the 11th Instant.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Colo Peter
Chaille two hundred and two pounds, fourteen shillings specie agree-
able to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per Certa
adjusted & passed 11th Intt.
That the said Treasurer pay to Ann Hindman thirty five pounds
six shillings and six pence and Philip Walker one hundred pounds,
five shillings and two pence specie agreeable to the Act aforesaid
per Certificates adjusted and passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Edward Norris nine pounds fifteen
shillings specie due him per Account passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Edward Norris for the use of
James Barton Ten pounds specie due him per Account passed. —
That Mr Shaw deliver to Colo Joseph Dashiell Lieut of Worcester
County [ ] for the use of the Militia of said County. —
