Daniel Herring nine pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence specie
agreeable to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per
Accounts passed.
Commission of Letters of Marque and Reprisal issued to Alex-
ander Hegey Commander of the Ship Audacious burthen two hun-
dred and fifty Tons, navigated by sixty men, mounting sixteen Car-
riage Guns belonging to Peter Whitesides & Company of Philadelphia
dated 26 Oct. 1782.

Saturday 30th November 1782
Present as on Yesterday.
Mr Ebenezer Mackie a Subject of Great Britain who hath lately
arrived in this State appeared before this Board and did Voluntarily
make repeat and Subscribe a Declaration of his Belief in the Christian
Religion and took repeated and subscribed the Oath prescribed in the
"Act for Naturalization " wherefore he is considered as a Subject
of this State.—
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Gilbert Middleton
for the use of Joseph Middleton Seven pounds, five shillings out of
the money appropriated for the Barges per Account passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Edward Gaither seventy
eight pounds and six pence specie due him for Balance of his Ac-
count passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Doctr John Sprigg, seven hundred
and ten pounds, three shillings and seven pence specie agreeable to
the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per Certificates
adjusted & passed 29 Inst.
That the sd Treasurer pay to Benjamin Harwood Esqr Receiver
of the Continental Taxes in this State two hundred and ten pounds,
six shillings and three pence specie arising from the Sale of part of
Wicomico Manor and directed to be remitted to Congress by the Act
for the Sale of certain Confiscated British property passed April
Session 1782.

Commission issued to George Brown appointed Captain in the
room of Daniel Sheilor removed out of the State — John Shoemaker
1st Lieut Christopher Need 2d Lieut, and John Mort Ensign in the
Catoctin Battalion of Militia in Frederick County. —
