[Council to Honble Intendant]

Doctor Murray tells us you will pay his Order for £250. or a
Part of it, if we will request it. Our giving an Order on the Treasurer
for Specie, is an Evidence that we think it ought to be paid. We
have been induced to make particular Requests under particular
Circumstances, but we think it improper that such Practice should
be continued, unless in Cases where the Public Service absolutely
requires it.
