Monday 11th November 1782

Commission issued to James Jones appointed Ensign of Captain
Levin Kirkmans Company in the Upper Battalion of Militia in
Dorchester County. —
Commission issued to John H. Nicholls elected Sheriff of Mont-
gomery County. —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Hart
seventy pounds, sixteen shillings and four pence specie for a Horse
purchased by A. McLane for Colo Lees Corps agreeable to a Resolve
of the Assembly of December 1st 1780 per Certificate adjusted and
passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to David Poe one hundred and twenty
one pounds, fourteen shillings specie to be charged to the United
States per Account passed. —
That the Commissary of Provisions deliver to Thos Gassaway
two hundred and sixty six Bushels and two thirds of a Bushel of
Wheat at Baltimore Town or the Head of Elk on Account of his
Salary. —
