That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Nathaniel Magruder three
hundred and twenty five pounds, twelve shillings and six pence specie
for the use of Captain John Reids Company stationed at Frederick
Town on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Captain Daniel Bryan thirty
Pounds current Money out of the Money appropriated for the
Barges to be delivered over to Captain Zedikiah Walley to be applied
to the purchase of Hospital Stores and accounted for.
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Capt Bryan, all the
Brandy in his Possession for the use of the Barges except a thirty
Commissions issued to James Martin elected Sheriff of Worcester
and Henry Hunt Sheriff of Calvert County.
Whereas an Act passed at the last Session of the General Assembly,
to empower Robert Dick to settle and collect the Debts due to David
Dalzel, George Oswald & Company, and Oswald, Dennistone & Com-
pany upon his ascertaining to the satisfaction of the Governor and
Council and the Intendant that the Debts due to him from the said
Companies of Glasgow Merchants, exceed the Amount of the Debts
due to them and their other property in this State. We hereby certify
that the said Robert Dick has ascertained as above, that the Debt
due to him from the said Companies exceed the whole Amount of
the Debts due to them, and their other property in this State and
has also entered into Bond, well Conditioned for the faithful dis-
charge of the trust reposed in him by the said Act.

Captain Edward Salmons Company and also to Leonard Lentz ap-
pointed first Lieutenant of Captain Nicholas White Company
belonging to the Frederick Town Battalion of Militia in Frederick

We request you will immediately order the Invalids mentioned
in the enclosed List, and all others that are fit for that Duty, to march
without Delay to Frederick Town, to guard the British Prisoners,
where they may render essential Service. It will be necessary that
two Commissioned Officers should take Command of this Party.

We are of Opinion that the Whole of the Specifics collected in
Virtue of the Act to raise the Supplies of 1782, and the Act entitled
an additional Supplement to the said Act, are liable for the Payment
of one Year's Interest, on the Certificates adjusted agreeable to the
Act relating to public Creditors; the Assembly having solemnly ap-
propriated as much of those Specifics as would be sufficient, and
