That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Horatio Clagett for the
use of Thomas Marshall forty Pounds, ten shillings and eight pence
half penny specie to be paid out of the twenty thousand Pounds appro-
priated for the Payment of Creditors of a particular description due
him for one half of a Certificate, including Interest, issued agreeable
to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State.
Commission of Letters of Marque & Reprisal issued to Edward
Peters Commander of the Schooner Return eighty four Tons burthen
navigated by seventeen Men, mounting six Carriage Guns, belonging
to Thomas Johnson, David Reese & David Patterson of Maryland. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Francis Coskery
tor the use of Peter Hunter eight Pounds, fifteen shillings specie
paid into the Treasury by him for Caution Money as appears by a
Warrant.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Morgan
eleven Pounds, eighteen shillings and four Pence, and Captain
Charles Staplefort twenty four Pounds, fourteen shillings and eight
pence Specie agreeable to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from
this State " per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Bullen six hundred and
seventy five Pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit &ca allowed him as Barrack Master from
5 February 1777 to 5 February 1782 per Account passed. —

The following Petition was presented to the Board by the said
Val Moser
To his Excellency Tho. Sim Lee Esqr Governor of Maryland, and
the Honble Council.—
The Petition of Valentine Moser of Frederick County Humbly
Sheweth, that your Petitioner was last Summer ordered to march to
George Town with the Militia of Frederick County. He having a
large and helpless Family, and himself being above fifty years of age,
did not go according to said order, Whereupon he was fined Twenty
Pounds by a Court Martial, owing as he believes to the matter not
