of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of
Credit &ca due them per Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. George Hamilton fifteen
Pounds one shilling & Capt Richard Waters twenty one Pounds, ten
shillings of the same Emission for Stores to the 1st Instant on
Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Beatty one hundred and
thirty seven Pounds, thirteen shillings and eleven Pence of the same
Emission to be delivered over to Jacob Roland due him on Account
passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Edmund Plowden Twenty Pounds,
five shillings of the same Emission, fourteen Pounds, five shillings
thereof to be by him retained and the residue to be delivered over
to William Hammersley due them per Accounts passed.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Worthing-
ton one hundred and sixty eight Pounds, thirteen shillings and one
Penny specie agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this
State, due him per Certificate adjusted.
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Levin Winder forty five
Pounds specie to reimburse him so much Money advanced by him
during his Capitivity on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Edmund Plowden for the use of
William Hammersly seven thousand, five hundred and thirty six
pounds of Tobacco in St Marys County Warehouses for the like
Quantity lent in 1780 per Certificates adjusted & passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Williams thirty nine
Pounds, nineteen shillings and nine pence and Samuel Worthington
Esqr one hundred and sixty eight Pounds, thirteen shillings and one
Penny of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills
of Credit &ca due on Certificates issued agreeable to the Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State.

[Council to Abraham Skinner Esqr Commy of Prisoners]

We are desirous of exchanging John Williams, a Lieutenant of
the Enemy's Barge, who was taken five or six weeks ago in Chesa-
peake Bay, for Lieutenant George Grason, who was taken a few Days
afterwards in the Bay, by the Enemy. Williams is now in Confine-
ment in this State, and Grason is also here on Parole : We shall be
much obliged to you, if you will negotiate the Exchange.
