Saturday 25th May 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Padder-
son, seven Pounds, thirteen shillings & four pence of the Bills emitted
under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding
200,000£ &ca due him per Account passed.

p. 285

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Sprigg
Esqr fifty seven Pounds eighteen shillings and four pence specie
agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per
Certificate adjusted and passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Joseph Hubbard forty two
Pounds fourteen shillings of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit &ca for the use of himself & Compy of
Militia p pay roll passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Beatty Esqr three hundred
and twenty one Pounds, two shillings and nine Pence of the same
Emission, forty eight Pounds, seven shillings and six pence thereof
to be by him retained and the residue to be delivered over as follows,
twenty Pounds to Francis Thomas, fifty two Pounds, fifteen shillings
and three Pence to Doctr Philip Thomas and two hundred Pounds to
Michael Raymer due p Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt John McFadon of the Mary-
land Artillery thirty Pounds of the same Emission agreeable to a
Resolution of this Board of the 22d July 1781 and also thirty Pounds
like money in lieu of a Suit of Cloaths & four shirts for the present
Year on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to James Chaplin Esqr twenty Pounds
of the same Emission to be delivered over to Frederick Myers, Jacob
Myers, James McNitts & Jacob Piper, each, five Pounds per Accots
passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Greenwood eleven Pounds
fifteen shillings of the same Emission due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Sprigg Esqr fifty Seven
Pounds, eighteen shillings and four Pence of the same Emission due
him on a Certificate issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts
due from this State.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Vachel Burgess, three hundred
and eighteen Pounds, eleven shillings and five Pence specie agreeable
to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State p Certificates
adjusted.
