That the said Treasurer pay to David Shriver Esqr twenty one
pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence of the Bills emitted under
the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca to be delivered over as
follows eleven pounds eight shillings and four pence to Richard
Negle — five pounds, fifteen shillings to John Franklin and five
pounds, ten shillings to Frederick Zacharias & George Payne due
them per Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Francis Deakins Esqr forty two
pounds of the same Emission, twenty five pounds thereof to be de-
livered over to Capt Samuel Swearingan & his Company of Militia
and the residue to be delivered over to Thomas Beall of George per
Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to John MoLure Esqr eight thousand
three hundred and thirteen pounds of Tobacco on Bladensburgh
Warehouse, in lieu of the nine Notes amounting to that Quantity,
which he will deliver paid him the 20th of December 1780 which
were not to be found in the warehouse and supposed to be stolen.
That the Commissary of Issues deliver to Capt Abell sixteen
rations so many furnished by him to four British Prisoners for four
Days.

[Council to General Smallwood]

We enclose you two Letters respecting the American Soldiers and
British Prisoners landed here this Morning. We concur it will be
best to send the Prisoners on to York Town, where the other British
Prisoners are kept, immediately; this Business being entirely in the
Line of the Military, we beg leave to refer it to you. You will be
pleased to return the Letters.

Saturday 4th May 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas F.
Eccleston Esqr one pound, ten shillings of the Bills emitted under
the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca to be delivered over
to Elizabeth Caile due her per Account passed.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Levin McGraw
eleven pounds eight shillings and four pence — Jacob Lusby three
pounds seven shillings and six pence — Joseph Insley eleven pounds
eight shillings and four pence — Thomas Smith six pounds, thirteen
shillings and nine pence and [ ] Holston twelve pounds of the
Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca
due them per Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Beatty nineteen pounds,
sixteen shillings and five pence of the same Emission due on Certifi-
cates issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this
