Nicholas Valiant 15,543lbs of Beef, which was also ordered to be
delivered to Mr Crisall, whose Receipt specifies only 11,585lbs, Defi-
ciency 39S8lbs We give you this Information, that in the Settlement
of those Accounts, Justice may be done the State.

Tuesday 9th April 1782
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Athanasius Ford
twenty seven pounds, seven shillings of the Bills emitted under the
Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca for the use of Capt
Edward Mattingly and his Company per pay roll Examined and
passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Clement Richards, nine pounds
ten shillings — George Townsend seventeen pounds two shillings and
six pence — Allison Maddox fourteen pounds, five shillings and
Thomas Curtis, eleven pounds three shillings and four pence of the
same Emission due them per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt James Patterson ninety three
pounds, twelve shillings and four pence of the same Emission due
him on a Certificate issued agreeable to the "Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State." —

Wednesday 10th April 1782.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jonathan Parker
Eight pounds, twelve shillings specie for riding Express p Acct
passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut. Philip Read thirteen pounds,
ten shillings specie agreeable to the Act relating to public Creditors
on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Richard Flemming twelve pounds,
sixteen shillings and six pence Specie for riding Express per Account
passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Hammond Esqr seventy four
pounds, eighteen shillings and two pence specie for Wood purchased
of him per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Nathan Hammond one hundred
and four pounds, fourteen shillings and three pence of the Bills
emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due
him on a Certificate issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts
due from this State
That the said Treasurer pay to Arthur Bryan one hundred and
one pounds, one shilling and four pence of the same Emission due
him on two Certificates issued agreeable the Act a aforesaid and also,
nine pounds, sixteen shillings and eight pence of the same Emission
for the use of Richard Start per Account passed. —
