That the said Treasurer pay to His Excellency Governor Lee
seventy six pounds, eight shillings and seven pence specie agreeable
to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per Certa settled
& passed. —
That the Armourer deliver to Commodore Grason one hundred
Swivel Shott, three four pound grape Ditto, three Axes, one thou-
sand eight hundred Loaded Musket Cartridges — one Barrel Powder,
six Bitts, six Worms & Ladles for Swivels, forty Cartridge Boxes,
thirty Cutlasses, one barrel Tar, fifty seven stand of Arms with
Bayonets, forty five brushes & prickers for the use of the Barges
and to be Accounted for. —
That the issuing Commissary Deliver to the said Commodore
Grason two Barrels Beef, two of Pork & six pounds Tallow for the
use of the Barges. —
Commission of Letters of Marque & Reprisal issued to Jeremiah
Yellott Commander of the schooner Antelope, one hundred and thirty
Tons burthen navigated by thirty seven Men mounting ten Carriage
Guns & eighteen Musketts

Thomas Cole Commander of the Ship Iris, two hundred and forty
three Tons burthen, navigated by sixty five men, mounting fourteen
Carriage Guns belonging to Jeremiah Yellott & others of Baltimore,
and also to Joseph Foster Commander of the Schooner Camden —
one hundred and fifteen Tons burthen, navigated by twenty Men,
mounting six Carriage Guns, belonging to John Sterett & Company
Baltimore. —

Having Reason to expect, from your own Representation, that
the Barges at Miles River are, by this Time prepared for Service, it
is our Desire that you proceed thither and man as many as you shall
judge necessary, on the best Terms in your Power, engaging the
Men for a Term not exceeding nine Months. We have supplied you
with a Sum of Money on Account, for this and other necessary
Purposes.
