Monday 29 October 1781

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Sefton two
hundred and twenty one pounds, six shillings and three pence specie
agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per
Certificates settled by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Jonathan Parker Seven pounds two
shillings and ten pence Specie for riding Express to Congress per
Acetpassed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Alien Quynn fifteen pounds thirteen
shillings and nine pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropriated for the
present Campaign to be charged to the Continent per Acct passed by
the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Patrick Carbery four pounds five
shillings and eleven pence of the same Emission, of the money appro'1
for the Defence of the State per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Thos Johnson junr fifteen pounds
specie to be by him expended in the purchase of paper &c for the
public on Ace.

Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to James Pope a
Blind Soldier one Coat, one Jacket, one pair Breeches, one shirt,
1 pr Stockgs & 1 pr shoes
Agreed with Mr John Muir in behalf of John Sterett of Baltimore
for two thousand pair of Yarn hose at five shillings and three pence
per pair to be paid in Tobacco at sixteen shillings and eight pence
p Cent
Philemon Timmons from Dorchester County who enlisted to serve
'till the tenth of December next being represented by Doctr James
Murray to be incapable of Military Duty is hereby Discharged.

Tuesday 30th October 1781.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay Richard Jacobs nine
pounds three shillings. William Farris twenty nine pounds, nineteer
shillings and one penny and to William Woodward junr four pounds
nine shillings and seven pence Specie agreeable to the Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State per Certs and Acct passed by the Aud
Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Susanna Philips one hundred and
thirty four pounds, ten shillings and eleven pence and to Jacob For-
wood thirteen pounds, nine shillings and six pence specie agreeable
to the Act aforesaid per Certs Settled by the Aud. Gl 22 Inst.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Robert Denny fifty pounds of
the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca
