The Governor and Council have received your Letter of the i Ith by
George Bear and having no other but Paper Money in the Treasury
have directed that five Pounds ten shillings should be drawn and
sent to you

Monday 15 October 1781.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Thomas
twenty nine pounds, two shillings and one penny and to Ruth Bil-
lingsly Twenty seven pounds, eighteen shillings specie, agreeable to the
" Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per Accounts passed
by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Basil Patterson eighteen pounds
sixteen shillings and nine pence of the Bills emitted under the Act
for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropriated for
the present Campaign due him per Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Isaac Rawlings, fifteen pounds
four shillings, of the same Emission, of the money aforesaid due him
per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to William Geoghegan, two pounds
fifteen shillings of the same Emission of the money aforesaid due
him per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joshua Dorsey twenty one pounds
two shillings and three pence of the same Emission of the money
appropriated for the Defence of the State allowed him by this Board
for Acting as an Assistant Clerk from the 7th September to this Day
inclusive.
That Mr Shaw deliver to Mr Quynn Steel Sufficient for eighteen
axes making for the public
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Majr Brookes, red Cloth
for facing to a Regimental Coat.
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Thomas Seventy
five pounds Specie to be delivered over to the special Council.
Mr Elisha Harrison appointed Surgeons Mate in the Maryland
Line.
