Saturday 13th October 1781
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Frederick Greene
three pounds Specie for Postage of Letters of the 1st Instant per
Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Stephen Steward five hundred
pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills
of Credit &ca of the money appropriated for the Defence of the State
to be expended in Building the Galley on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Frederick Green two hundred and
forty one pounds, twelve shillings and six pence, of the money afore-
said due him per Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Richard Ridgely one hundred and
twenty six pounds eighteen shillings and nine pence of the same Ems
of the money appropriated for the present Campaign to be delivered
over to Thomas Usher due him per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Emanuel Ebbs, John D. Tully
William Newbury and William Potter Soldiers in the 3d Maryld
Regimt each one pound six shillings and three pence of the same
Emission of the money aforesaid for making thirteen Common Tents.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Denny thirteen pounds ten
shillings of the same Emission of the money aforesaid to be delivered
over to Lawrence Brannon, Jesse Jacobs, Emanuel Alien, Michael
Claney, William Moore, William George, Joseph Blaze, William
Cox, Daniel Oneal, Thomas Bird, Richard Blansfield & Thomas
Richardson lately returned from Captivity in Charles Town each
three Dollars on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to William Scott two pounds five
shillings of the same Emission of the money aforesaid due him p
Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer deliver to Colo Sam Smith one hundred
hhds Tobo to be applied in the Purchase of Clothing for the Army
on Acct
