Place or Places he will point out to have them collected at. It is very
probable there may be many empty flour Barrels entirely useless at
Camp, if Colo Stewart will direct such to be sent by the Vessels
returning to this State, it may be a Means of facilitating our Efforts
to supply your Excellency with Flour and will tend greatly to accel-
erate the Removal of it to Head Quarters

Thursday 4th October 1781.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Stone
Esquire two hundred and thirty eight pounds ten shillings of the
Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca
of the money appropriated for the present Campaign to be delivered
over to Thomas H. Ridgate per account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Henry Clements five pounds,
five shillings of the same Emission of the money aforesaid for Stores
on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Mary Ransom twenty shillings of
the same Emission of the money aforesaid due her per account passed
by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to John Henry Maccubbin six pounds
of the same Emission of the money aforesaid due him per Account
passed by the Aud. Genl
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Lieut Henry Clements six
Gallons of Rum and twenty four pounds of Sugar to the first Instant.
That John Bullen Esqr deliver to Colo Wool ford a Horse such as
will not answer for a Light Dragoon.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Mary Ghiselin
four hundred and eighteen pounds, eight shillings and five pence
William Lyles one hundred and twenty nine pounds, ten shillings
& to Benjamin Rumsey three hundred and twenty two pounds eight-
een Shillings and six pence Specie agreeable to the " Act to adjust
the Debts due from the State " per Accounts & Certificates passed
by the A. Gl
That the said Treasurer pay to Doctr James Murray fifty pounds
of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit
&ca of the money appropriated for the present Campaign to be ex-
pended in purchasing Wine & other necessaries for the use of the
Hospital on Account.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to John Bullen Esqr Six-
teen Blankets and Linen for 14 Beds for the use of the sick Soldiers
in the Hospital.
