priated for the present Campaign to be delivered over to his Father
Jesse Taylor senr for goods purchased of him by Daniel Jenifer Esqr
purchaser of Clothing for Charles County.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Lavascher three pounds
fifteen shillings of the same Emission of the money aforesaid for
Stores on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut John Sears one pound ten
shillings of the same Emission of the money aforesaid for Stores to
1st Inst. on Acct
That the said Treasurer pay to Genl Smallwood Twenty pounds
of the same Emission of the money aforesaid and also Fifteen pounds
Specie on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Doctr Richard Tootell seventy
pounds thirteen shillings and three pence Specie agreeable to the
" Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " as per Certificates
Settled by the Audr 21 Augt 1781
That the Armourer deliver to John Bullen Esqr one hundred stand
of Arms with Accoutrements complete in Boxes for the 3d Maryld
Regt
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Lieut. Lavascher ten
Gallons of Rum and forty pounds Sugar and also to Lieut John Sears
four Gallons of Rum and sixteen pounds of sugar to the 1st Instant
on Account.
Thomas Dyson, Henry Chapman, Samuel Hanson, Joseph Cross,
Thomas Beatty, Malachiah Bonham, John Carey, Basil Waring,
R. B. Lattimer, John Merrikin and Walter Hanson appointed En-
signs in the Maryland Line, the Rank to be settled hereafter.

We request you will send by the Guard who has Charge of the
Horses, all the State Prisoners confined under your Guard in this
City to be delivered to Philip Thomas Esqr Lieutenant of Frederick
County who is to forward them to Fort Frederick.

The fourth Regiment will march in the Morning, and it is highly
and indispensably necessary that the whole of the Articles in your
Possession for them, should be forwarded without a Moments Delay.
A Quantity of Tin was sent up yesterday, which you will have made
up instantly into Camp Kettles and sent down. If a Vessel cannot be
got immediately, or the wind should not be fair, you must impress
a Waggon Team and Driver, or more, if one will not be sufficient,
and forward the Articles by Land. Do exert yourself and procure, if
