Allison, Benjamin Passbeach, Daniel Oneal, Michael Mahan, Roger
O Donald, Benjamin Burch, John Jones, and Peter Caldwell soldiers
of the Maryland Line returned from Captivity in South Carolina in
a Distressed situation each, five pounds on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel T. Wright Esquire sixty
pounds of the same Emission of the money appropriated for the
Defence of the State on Account.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Colo Samuel Smith one
Bolt of Oznabrigs for the purpose of making up soldiers Clothing
and also one hundred and Sixty yards of Russia Duck for which he
will return one hundred and seventy yards of light Duck proper for
making Tents.
Whereas Joshua Dorsey hath this Day made Application for leave
to go to Sea contrary to the Tenor of his Bond dated the 6th June
1781. Leave is given to said Joshua Dorsey to prosecute his intended
Voyage
On the petition of John Taylor of Saint Marys County who was
confined to the Limits of Montgomery County by order of this Board,
praying Leave to return to St Marys County where his wife resides,
for the purpose of removing her to Montgomery County and settling
his Affairs in St. Marys County. Leave is hereby given to the said
John Taylor for the term of three months for the purpose aforesaid,
at the end of which time he is to return to Montgomery County.

Mr Gaither the late Commissary of this County having resigned.
We have appointed you for the Purpose of purchasing or seizing the
Number of Cattle required of this County, that we may be enabled to
comply with the Demands made on us from the Continent for an
immediate Supply for the Army agreeably to the Orders issued to the
late Commissary a Copy of which you have enclosed.

bringing the Waggons you were requested to procure for the State
agreeably to our last Letter to you. We must further request to have
one Half of the Waggons covered and a Tar Box, whip and Pair of
