Thursday 16 August 1781

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Ely Dorsey nine
pounds three shillings and six pence Specie agreeably to the " Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State " in lieu of an Order of the 18^th
May last as settled by the Aud. Gen^l
That the said Treasurer pay to Peter Grosh nine pounds, twelve
shillings and six pence Specie agreeably to the Act aforesaid in lieu of
an Order of the 18^th May last as settled by the Aud. Gen^l
That the said Treasurer pay to John Vardin eight pounds, six
shillings and nine pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding two hundred thousand
pounds &^ca of the money appropriated for the present Campaign due
him per Account passed by the Aud. Gen^l
That the said Treasurer pay to John Bullen Esq^r seventy five
pounds of the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid
on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to James Roper fifty one pounds, five
shillings & three pence of the same Emission of the money app^d as
aforesaid p Acc^t passed by the Dep^y Auditor

pounds eleven shillings of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding two hundred thousand
pounds &^ca of the money appropriated for the present Campaign due
him per Account passed by the Dep^y Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to William Kirby Jones nine pounds
eleven shillings and three pence of the same Emission of the money
appropriated as aforesaid due him per Account passed by the Aud.

That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Dyre Betton Fourteen
pounds of the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid
due him per Account passed by the Aud. Gen^l
That the said Treasurer pay to Nathaniel Owens five pounds four-
teen shillings of the same Emission of the money appropriated as
aforesaid due him per Account passed by the Aud. Gen^l
That the said Treasurer pay to Daniel Munro Two pounds eight
shillings of the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid
per Account passed by the Dep^y Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Daniel Bryan Twenty pounds
of the same Emission of the money appropriated for the Defence of
the State to be by him expended in repairing the State Boat Plater and
accounted for.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson Junior Twenty
five pounds of the same Emission of the money appropriated as
aforesaid on Account.
