We request you to procure immediately forty Beeves by Purchase
or Seizure, if you are obliged to seize you will give Certificates for the
quantity seized, if purchased you are not to exceed four Pence p
Pound.

[Council to Joshua Beall Esqr.]

Mr Nicholas Waters has complained to us of the Manner of his
being drafted for the 4th Class of the middle Battalion of Prince
Georges County. He asserts that Wm Fenly according to his Appre-
hension and a Mr Club were first fairly draughted, that a second Draft
for the same Class in the Manner made was improper. We suspend
our opinion until we have a Clear State of the Facts, which we request
you will let us [have] by the first opportunity.
