That the western shore Treasurer pay to the said Henry Hawkins
Ten pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of
Bills of Credit not exceedg two hundred thousand pounds &ca of the
money apprt for the present Campaign on Acct
That the said Treasurer pay to Ensign Basil Burgess eight pounds
of the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid for
Cloathing on Account.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to John Chalmers
seven pounds sixteen shillings of the Bills emitted under the Act for
the Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding two hundred thousand
pounds &ca of the money appropriated for the present Campaign
due him per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Peter Adams eleven pounds
thirteen shillings and nine pence of the same Emission of the money
appropriated as aforesaid due him per Account passed by the Aud.

That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Issabell, two pounds, six-
teen shillings and three pence of the same Emission of the money
appropriated as aforesaid due him per Acct passed by the Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Chase Esquire Thirty
pounds of the same Emission of the money appropriated for the
Defence of the State per Account passed by the Audr Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to John Vardin thirteen pounds twelve
shillings and six pence of the same Emission of the money appro-
priated for the payment of Expresses &ca per Account passed by the
Aud. Genl
The Governor and Council agreed this Day with John Dorsey & Co
for six Tons of good Merchantable sorted Cordage fit for a Galley
or such other use as the State may require for which said Dorsey
and Company are to be paid at the rate of twenty pence per pound
of the new Emission as specie the money to be advanced the Cordage
to be delivered whenever required to be made according to a Cordage
Bill.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Chase
Esquire one thousand pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for
the Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding two hundred thousand
pounds &ca of the money appropriated for the Defence of the State
to be delivered over to John Dorsey & Co in payment for twelve
thousand pounds of Cordage agreeable to the above Contract.
On the Petition of Stacy Arms of Charles County Setting forth
that she is a Widow and has three Children one a son and the other
two Daughters, very small, that her son was Draughted on the 27th
of July last, that he is the only support of her and her two Daughters,
and that should he be obliged to march she and her two Daughters
must be left in great Distress. It is therefore ordered that John
