Ordered That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut William
Murdock of the 6th Regimt Cloth and Trimmings for a Waistcoat &
Breeches due him for the year 1780. Capt. Trueman three Drum
Cards to be charged to the Continent and also to Lt James Arthur of
the 4th Regt Cloth & Trimgs for a Suit of Cloaths & Linen for two
Shirts in full for the present year.
Ordered that the Armourer deliver to Capt Trueman one Drum,
three Drum Heads, three pair Drum Sticks and two fifes to be

charged to the Continent.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Capt Edward Spurrier
of the 4th Regimt Linen for two shirts. Capt. John Mitchell of the Ist
Regimt Linen for two shirts and facings for a Coat he paying for the
facings. Capt. John Davidson of the 2d Regimt a suit of Cloaths and
four shirts. Capt. John Swan of Colo Baylars Corps Cloth and
Trimmings for a suit of Cloaths and Linen for four shirts. Capt.
Peregine Fitzhugh of the same Corps Cloth and Trimmings for a
Suit of Cloaths and Linen for two shirts and also to Captain William
Reily of the 4th Regiment Linen for two shirts due them for the
year 1781.
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt. Joseph Chapline
Three hundred pounds for the use of himself and his Company of
Select Militia and also Two hundred and eighty pounds to be delivered
over to Capt. Adam Ott for the use of himself and Company of
Select Militia under marching Orders for George Town on Potow-
mack agreeable to a Resolution of the General Assembly of this Day
to be by them accounted for.

Congress having made a requisition to this State for two Battalions
each to consist of nine Companies and each Company of sixty four
rank and File to serve for three Months wherever ordered by the
Commander in Chief, which we have no Doubt will be adopted by
the general Assembly, induces us to countermand our Orders to you
on the 4th Instant respecting the March of the two hundred Militia
to George Town.

there will be no impropriety in delaying the removal of the Provisions,
until we are better ascertained to what point Cornwallis will direct
