Suits which will be ready in less than a fortnight, as the sending
the Cloathing to Chester will be attended with a needless Expence we
request you to order all the recruits which are in Chester Town im-
mediately to this Place, that they may as soon as possible join the
Southern Army. They may rely on not being sent from this before
they are cloathed.

We have determined to take the Bearskins at 30 S. p. Yard payable
in Tobacco at I5/ p Cent the Terms you propose. You will have
them cut into Blankets of two yards each and deliver them to our
Order as soon as the Amount is ascertained you shall have an Order
for the Tobacco.

Pound Cannon which we beg you will have proved and transported
to Baltimore Town, there to be delivered to Capt. George Keeports,

ing for the Recruits in this State and for the furnishing the Officers
under marching Orders for the Southward with 3o£ Specie each has
prevented us from carrying on our Intentions into Execution. Mr
Key has offered to transport immediately to Philadelphia one hundred
Hogsheads of Tobacco there to be disposed of, which we have ac-
cepted, and which will enable us to lodge there a sufficient Sum of
Money for your Purposes. We shall be obliged to you to let know
the Determination of Congress respecting the shipping Flour &ca
to New York for the relief of our Captive Officers the General As-
sembly of this State have taken off the Embargo on Flour
