We shall be much obliged to you to direct the Cannon on Board
the Sloop to be landed on the Indian landing at the Head of Severn
River and we shall take it as a particular Favor if you will spare a
sufficient Number of the Continental Troops to assist in putting them
on Shore

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut William
Murdock and Lieut Thomas Rouse, each, eleven pounds, eleven
shillings and six pence due them per Accounts passed by the Aud.
Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Adam Richardson one pound two
shillings and six pence due him per Acct passed by the D. Aud.
That the Eastern shore Treasurer pay to Lieut John Massey of the
26th Battalion of Militia taken prisoner in August 1777 one hundred
pounds on Account
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Lieut William Murdock
Twenty three and a half Gallons of Rum and eighty pounds of Sugar
and also to Lieutenant Thomas Rouse eight Gallons of Rum and
thirty two pounds of Sugar due them to the 1st Instant.

Ordered that the Collector of the Tax for Baltimore County pay
to Docf Nathan Brownson Purveyor General of the Hospitals in
Southern Department four hundred pounds in part of an Order in
his favor by the Honble Major Genl Greene Commander in Chief in
the Southern Department for two thousand pounds specie agreeable
to a Resolution of Congress of June last.

We received yours of the 2d Instant by Mr Bayfield and directed
him to deliver the Steers you mention to John Chrysal issuing Com-
missary at this Post whose Receit is sufficient. We shall send you
the Barrels and Salt immediately on the return of our Boat from
Baltimore to be landed as conveniently for you as possible.

Hollingsworth to have you supplied with Forage and for him to
