the Lieutenant of Montgomery County for a full Company of Militia
when requested and to Colonel Baker Johnson Lieutenant of Fred-
crick County. General Gist has ordered the Matrosses and the Mary-
land Part of the German Regiment to join the Southern Army so that
we have now only the Militia to depend on as Guards for the British
Troops Col Baker Johnson writes that there will be a full Company
of Militia from Frederick County by the 21st and that he has wrote
to Col. Griffith of Montgomery for a Company to be at Frederick
the same Day. If you find that a more numerous Guard will be
necessary, please to give us immediate Notice and a further strength
shall be ordered from some of the neighbouring Militia agreeable to
the Resolution of the Assembly. Orders have been dispatched to
several Counties to hasten up Provisions to Frederick Intelligence
has been received of the Misbehaviour of Thos. Wall enclosed is
therefore a warrant for apprehending him; you will have the same
executed and Wall sent here without Delay.

Wednesday 21st February 1781.
Ordered that the Armourer deliver to Captain Gilbert Middleton
one 4tt Cannon one hundred & twenty five Muskets complete ten
Barrels Gun powder two barrels damaged ditto, one thousand Flints
half ream Cartridge paper & Cartridge paper for the 4tt Shot, two
hundred pounds of Lead & one hundred 4B shot to be delivered over to
the Lieut. of Talbot County.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut. Thomas H.
Luckett of Rawlings's Regimt Cloth & Trimmings for a Suit of
Cloaths & Linen for two shirts in part for the present year.
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Elizabeth Buckley a
soldiers wife of the 2nd Regimt rations during her Husbands sickness.
That the western shore Treasurer pay to William Hyde five thou-
sand two hundred and thirty four pounds due him for his last years

In Virtue of the Resolution of the General Assembly of the 1st of
May 1780 This Board have agreed to allow Mr Thomas Donnellan
fifty pounds of the new Emission per Month for his services in re-
ceiving and forwarding Provisions for the Army.
Permission given to Mrs Jane Hamilton widow of the Reverend
Mr Hamilton of Cecil County to go into the City of New York.

You will proceed immediately up Severn to the Indian Landing
and take on Board twelve Barrels of Powder and four Boxes of
Arms which are to be delivered you by Capt. Warfield and return
