Commissions according to the Officers belonging to said Companies,
who are to take Rank agreeable to the Date of their Commissions
and that you will fill up Commissions to such officers who may be

By a Resolution of the General Assembly of the 1st Instant the
Bonds of several Collectors are to be put in Suit unless the Monies
due from them are paid by the 20th Instant. We therefore request
you to transmit to this Board an Account of the Balances which may
remain due from the several Collectors of your shore after the 20th
Instant that the above Resolution may be carried into Effect.

Yours of the 3 1st Ult. respecting the Cloths we have received and
in Answer, request you to send us a Sample of the Cloths, the Prices
and your Terms of Payment. They are such Articles as are much
wanting and if we approve your Terms, shall purchase them most
chearfully. If the Stockings are proper for Soldiers and the Price
not too extravagant we will contract for them also. We shall be glad
to be favored with your Answer as soon as convenient.

You are to receive on board your Boat the Dolphin one 6tt Cannon
wheels and Carriage 100 Stand of Arms, 1000 Flints 2 Barrels of
Powder one of Cannon the other of Musket, which you are to deliver
to the Lieutenant of Dorset County for the use of the Militia of that
County at Cambridge. You are then to proceed down the Bay as far
as Patuxent, to the Relief of Mr Berry who is stationed there as a
lookout and dispatch him immediately with whatever Intelligence he

may have relative to the Movements of the Enemy; and you are then
to proceed down as far as you can with safety for the Purpose of
discovering with Certainty, where the Enemy are, and what there
Designs may be, which you are to communicate to this Board as
speedily as possibly.
