Opinions that the said John Stump's going at large is dangerous to
the State and do therefore order that the said John Stump be con-
fined to Harford County and do not depart therefrom without the
Licence of the Governor and Council for the time being first obtained
and that the said John Stump give Bond to the State with one good
and sufficient Security in the penalty of two thousand pounds current
Money not to depart the said County without Leave as aforesaid
and in the mean time to be of good Behaviour towards the State.

It is not in our Power to send you any Money, there not being a
Farthing in the Treasury of any Sort nor can we with Certainty say
when it will be in our Power, however you may depend upon having
it whenever our Treasury will afford it.

Monday 29th January 1781

Ordered that Capt. Philemon Warfield deliver to Johnson Smith,
six barrels of Cannon powder to be delivered to Robert T. Hooe
Esquire to be by him returned.
That the Armourer deliver to the said Johnson Smith two nine
pound Cannon and four quire Cannon Cartridge paper, to be de-
livered to Robt T. Hooe & returned and also to Capt Robert Berry
one 6H Cannon fifty Muskets, one hundred Cannon Cartridges, one
hundred six pound short thirty pound Musket powder to be delivered
over to Colo Barnes Lieut of St. Mary's County for the use of the
Militia of said County and sixty Musket Cartridges for the present
Cruise as a look out Boat to be returned if not used.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Capt John Courts Jones
of the 7th Regimt Lieut William T. Stoddert of the 5th and General
Smallwood each, a suit of Cloaths and Linen for two shirts for the
year 1781. and also to Major John Steward a suit of Cloaths and
Linen for two shirts for the year 1781. and Aquila Deaver, Jesse
Grace, Paul Richards and Thomas Bailey of the 3d Lawrence
Hurdle, William Lynch of the 7th and William Roberts, Benjamin
Gray and John Milstead of the 1st Regiment, each, a suit of Cloaths,
one hat and one Blanket.
The western shore Treasurer pay to John King thirty six pounds,
twelve shillings and six pence of the new Emission in lieu of one
thousand four hundred and sixty five pounds due him per Acct
passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Bullen three hundred and
ninety pounds of the same Emission on Acet
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Capt Robt Berry seven
Days provisions for five men to Act as look out.
