That the said Treasurer pay to George Murdock Twenty Pounds
Specie to be expended in procuring necessaries for the Convention
Troops in Fred. Town on Acct
That the said Treasurer pay to Captain Joseph Smith of Colo
Nathl Gists Regiment, seven pounds, nineteen shillings and nine
pence of the new Emission in lieu of three hundred and nineteen
pounds, ten shillings p Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Peter Adams Twenty one
Pounds fourteen shillings and two pence half penny of the same
Emission in lieu of Eight hundred and sixty eight pounds Eight
shillings and four pence due him per account passed by the Aud.
General.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Alexander Trueman thirty
Pounds of the same Emission on Account agreeably to the Reso-
lution of the Genl Assy of this date
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to the said Capt. Alexander
Trueman seventeen and a half gallons of Rum and forty eight
pounds of sugar due him to this Inst, and also to Capt. Joseph Smith
Twelve Gallons of Rum and forty eight pounds of Sugar due him
to the 31st Instant.
That the Armourer deliver to Colo Peter Adams one pound of
Powder and five pound Lead on Account.
That Messrs Vanswearingen and Thomas Beatty Commissioners
for Frederick County deliver to George Murdock all the public
Corn in their hands.
That Colo Thomas Price Commissary of Frederick County de-
liver to the said George Murdock as much Beef, Pork, flour, Bran
& Shorts as he may have occasion for in supplying the Convention
Troops.
That Christopher Edelin Esquire Collector of the Tax for Fred-
erick County pay to the said George Murdock for the use of the Con-
vention Troops and their Guard fifteen thousand Pounds to be by
him accounted for.
Commission of Letters of Marque and Reprisal issued to Benja-
min Weeks Commander of the Brig Cato, mounting fourteen Car-
riage Guns, navigated by Forty men, belonging to Samuel and Wil-
liam Smith Daniel Bowly and John Gwinn of Baltimore Town in
the State of Maryland.

Mr Murdock having informed us that Colonel Wood has ordered
a Guard over the Magazine near Frederick Town, we request you to
discharge that appointed by us. We wish you to distribute the Arms
in your County into the Hands of such Persons as you can trust,
taking such Receipts therefor as will make them answerable for them
